About Us

Buying or selling a company is a serious task. Placing a value on your company can also be a formidable and challenging undertaking. These projects often represent the most important events in an entrepreneur's career, and the success of such initiatives requires clear thinking, detailed planning, and careful execution.

Drawing on a diverse base of knowledge and expertise, National Capital provides sophisticated financial advisory services to a wide range of middle-market companies. We specialize in advising and assisting clients in connection with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and business valuations. We also provide general financial advisory services, including fairness opinions, restructurings, and holding company formations.

National Capital’s advisory experience spans most industries and transaction types. Our investment bankers have complementary backgrounds and talents, including business management and consulting backgrounds. These resources, coupled with our extensive corporate, industry and economic databases, provide National Capital with the skills, information, and analytical tools needed to evaluate and execute complex financial transactions.

At National Capital, we tailor our approach to each client's specific needs. Accordingly, we commit substantial up-front time and effort identifying the client’s objectives, evaluating the client’s business and developing a strategy to meet the client’s goals. We focus on providing effective advice and service to middle-market banking, manufacturing, distribution, retail, e-commerce and service companies - a universe that often has the greatest need for but the least access to professional financial advisory services.

In each of our engagements, we become quite knowledgeable about our client’s business and the industry in which it operates. In business valuation assignments, this approach allows us to accurately assess “value drivers” and effectively evaluate both company and industry risks. In a transaction environment, our comprehensive understanding of a client’s business allows us to skillfully discuss their company and negotiate on their behalf with prospective buyers.

Regardless of the type of assignment, the principals and employees of National Capital pledge to perform our services with the highest level of ethics, integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.
